A word about video.

I have, for years, made wedding videos that look like everyone else’s. I’ve tried to play by all of the rules of the industry, and I gotta say…. I hate it.

So here’s what I’m going to do. So, I’m going to include all of the RAW video files for each wedding. That way, you can rework it yourself, have someone else make you 5 versions or just file them away to look at on a rainy day.

I am going to make creative wedding “films” that are music only.

Just a little video (a few minutes long) that you can watch and get the whole feeling of your wedding all over again. You’ll see the little moments. You’ll remember things that you forgot. You’ll feel like you’re back there again, just for a little while.

I hate to axe audio and song choices and yada yada yada, but y’all. My heart is not in these big production type wedding videos. It’s just not. Often times, these types of videos turn in to manufactured memories.

I’m an organic, remember as it happened kind of gal. If something ridiculous and stupid happens. I’m gonna film it. I refuse to perfect life’s most wonderfully imperfect moments on film. Y’all. Shit happens at weddings sometimes. It’s awesome. Just roll with it, and I will too.
